Cindy reminded me on one thing, i havent been blogging bout food recently. Instead, all my rantings and whining .. yea it has been irritating.

So, coincidentally, i had pretty good stuff today.

Firstly, for lunch, i had hakka yong tau fu at Chinatown.

































The filling is so tasty and different










Worth 4 stars no doubt, but on a cold rainy day, it gets a 5 anytime.




Secondly, met up with a fruit to have some deserts at Ice3 at Gardens.





Had this mudpie called "alcoholics anonymous" and it is supposedly the best mudpie in Singapore. A word of caution, if you're not a big fan of the alcohol, well there are alternatives. The lingering taste of rum was pretty strong and i felt it was rather decent and normal. nothing spectacular to wow about. plus $9.90 for this, i think i 'll go for egg tau hway. 3 stars

Round 2 of supper followed at midnight curry. Food's still good, with the only surprise is the price. $12.80 only! weishu did a good job distracting the uncle. =)




Today was also the last day of my cooking lessons. Curry prawns and chicken roll in wine sauce ( cant do direct translation well) and wer're gonna try the yam paste recipe out tomorrow. So behold the two chefs of tomorrow! gonna continue with the lessons, but this time i think hands on lessons would be more effective. SO thats pretty much all i have on food so far i guess.

back to work .. sigh

and the patch continues.

1. Prof was sick. No one told the degree students, so we went to school thinking that there is that one hour lesson but no.

2. Flagged at the bus like from 50 m and still it did not stop.

3. I was abandoned tonight.

4. Was it a trans who messaged me on friendster?

Well the good thing is that

sometimes i think that i'm a complex person. someone who really thinks too much sometimes. and sometimes seems to be now actually. you see, i'm a little down, especially with someone trying to show off the other someone to me. hey, you got me seriously but oh well, i guess i jus have a sad life seriously. what are the chances of one getting rashes after having kushinbo and then heading over to the doc's but it jus happens that the place is closed? no mooncake fest for me cause everyone jus seemed to dropped their phone into the dustbin or wherever they want them, and no mahjong for me cause david copperfield came early and made them disappear. (karma)

i guess have too much on my hands seriously, or in my mind, i know i sound a little morbid now but hopefully a few beers tomorrow night will knock everything out of my head (wishing)
damn i'm in a rough patch, falling ill too.

and i prefer children of hougang to north easties, sorry shu. =)

It's funny how memories will trigger when significant events approach. For example, just last year we were still burning ants and playing with sparkles during the mooncake festival. and it's ironic that memories still come back to haunt me even till today. i guess there are just certain things that you miss.

and recess started today with me trying to camp in the library. not too effective though.


so much work, so little time..

What are the chances of 2 persons wearing the same shirt? Quite low actually, and when u buy something online, you dun reali wanna see someone else wearing it. And wa la!! we swore that today's date will strike 4D, (pls do check it out) so here's prove of the amazing occurance which is rarer than a blue moon.

jus looking at their "oh so surprised" look is really bonding my siblings together.
yea, we laugh at them together. A rare occasion where we all agree. =)

ok, i got a D for my out of point essay, which totally ruins all chances of getting an A. This is even though our presentation was like superb. sigh one more essay to go
