Tonight was me and danny's date with maria.
It was definitely a great experience. Top players playing in front of you don't really happen everyday and this will inspire to train more i guess.

She's real pretty by the way, and gigantic. at 1.88m she totally towers over everyone la.

Ocean's 14. Yea the biggest con job of the year for me. only woman know what i mean eh. It ended with this packet of carrot cake. Geylang fried carrot cake at heartland mall hawker centre. Despite me going there at 645 am in the morning, i still had to wait for like 20 mins! Anyway, just to let you all know, my 2nd fav carrot cake after the changi village one.

caught national treasure. give it bout 3 stars, not as good as the previous one though. but thats jus me.

Saw daniel twice today with someone. double dragon eh ?

school's starting in 2 weeks, and my timetable is almost complete, hopefully it remains a 4 day week. pretty pretty please.

this is so infuriating. i have to pay $198 to replace the LCD screen for my handphone. Like what the fuck man. it's apparently corrosion which is not under the terms of the warranty.
what an unlucky end to the year and now i'm not getting the iphone. i have no idea what handphone to use.
ugh the beginning of the nightmare.

Post Christmas

This December has been a memorable one i guess. There was my birthday, the beach party, Christmas, results. Genting was forgettable though.
Had a great Christmas dinner on the 24th. Hopefully i would be reinvited next year? (*winks)
A equally great dinner on the 25th (pics to come soon)
Spent loads on shopping and presents which totally blew my budget. Back to savings from next year onwards.
Has really been a hectic and busy holiday and weirdly, i cant wait for school to begin. My partial timetable is out and i'm all set for school i hope. but before that, new years eve party at indran's! the last event to cap a year which hasnt been too good i guess, especially in terms of people relations.

Anyway, pictures of tang yuan my grand aunt made. Traditional and nice, just the way i like it.

well, acquired taste is definitely the best word to describe it. Edible still though. 3 stars.
but its quite afforable. all the above for $27.50. i think theres no gst and service charge.

genting is an evil place.

i am in genting once again. nothing really much to do over here. just taking a break from the hectic holidays i guess. Sorry i cant upload any pictures currently, stupid samsung phone broke down again. FOR THE 2nd TIME! my god. thank goodness my iphone will arrive by the end of december.

Thanks for the harddisk guys, but now, i jus realise that you can only use it on a mac OR a pc.
Which more or less defeats the purpose, because what i wanted to do was to transfer the files on my pc onto my mac.
Is there a solution anyone?

The shop is situated in Chinatown. Its a lil small, but has a home feel to it. The boss is Korean and the food i guess is authetic korean food. Price is reasonable, our meal cost bout 43? However, BBQ could have been better, but then again, they dun specialise in BBQ. So Chang's BBQ here i come!

Anyway, just realised that so many things have happened within such a short short time. People getting attached, and breaking up, and some stuff which i guess i cant post.

I usually don’t like thinking about the future. I mean let’s face it, you can’t predict what’s going to happen. But sometimes, the thing you didn’t expect is what you wanted after all. Maybe the best thing to do is stop trying to figure out where you’re going and just enjoy where you’re at.

And thats what i'm gonna do.

It has been a busy busy weekend. hectic really. been helping out at the it fair on thurs, fri and sat before heading down to town with eddie today.

Yes, the two little kids in the pictures set up shop and sold their toy helicopter all by myself. My cousin and i were so impressed la. Seriously, we stood there for like 10 mins, and no adults came to help them la. Thats entrepreneurship


Dinner for today. Ambush. ok, its at the b2 of taka food square. All the way to the back. It really 'ambushes' you i guess. Have always wanted to try out the food at the area and today i had the chance to.


This is what i had. Its dory fillet something. Cant remember the exact name. I think its the Japanese fluffy rice. Simply excellent. 5 stars!! It has really been such a long time i tasted something this good. The flavour is rich and tasty and even though i'm not a big fan of the dory, it tasted fresh to say the least.



Eddie had the sweddish meatball pasta. Another delightful pasta. Even though they said sweddish, i think it tasted like my mum's meatballs. In the sense that, you can really taste that it is homemade. probably not made in Sweden but Singapore. Nevertheless, the sauce is somehow sweet. the garlic used were perfect as it was in the right size. oh my, i dun really noe how to put it in words. Try it to understand.

Overall, a must TRY. meal for 2 at $20.80. Affordable, no service charge.
HOWEVER, one down side, is that you cant choose where to sit, and we sat facing the wall (imagine the traditional jap rest) and being in the middle of nowhere, the ambience is probably lacking. But good food and good price = must try.


My mouth was still itchy, and this looked not bad. I wanted to try the chicken cheese balls but they were out of them. So yea, next time perhaps.


Ok, now is onto shopping. Saw so many nice nice stuff today. First up, espirit bag.

But anyway, if you have not realised, this is ding tai feng.
Xiao long bao is a must try. Sadly despite patronising them for such a long time, they have not even added any new dishes to their menu, which is rather disappointing.
Perhaps the amazing thing is the hairy crabs as seen in the photos below (you would probably have to zoom all the way to see it) at $40 per crab i wonder how does it taste.



Anyway, everyone was looking at them eating, coz they were like the only ones who ordered them.
