A positive review!

Thanks to xing yu for this delightful place.

Located at Tanglin, near to Tanglin mall, hidden away in a corner is

The chocolate cake that we came for. Really Really good. The chocolate literally flows out of the cake.

Ok i gotta apologise cause i have no idea whats the name of the dish exactly. But the cheesy sandwich, which was delicious by the way, is the one created by the Hediard guy himself and its written on the menu.

here's the webby for those interested. Enjoy!

A New Grading System

This stall looks good ain't it. Shows you what good marketing can do.
This stall can be found at Lor ah soo, under woman's block.

While arriving for it to arrive. I was saying it is sure gonna be good. Hence, melissa gladly and gamely posed a good sign.

Then we realised something. What happens if the food is bad.
So we snapped another one showing that it is bad.

Then we realised, "what if its just so-so". Hence.

Finally the food came. And it was

The Verdict

Would use these to grade future food. I think its easier compared to stars =)

The new canteen at can A has opened. Totally different from the old can A, this one looks more like a foodcourt, complete with aircon and fancy furniture

Tried the dish below, and it was pretty decent. However, prices have increased for the majority of the stalls. You have been warned.

East Coast Park Supper

New York New York

Figured that since the was a 'hip' stall in kovan, i had better try it. Sadly it was rather disappointing. Firstly, the mushroom soup was alright, but slightly on the salty side

Then we had some cheese fondue (pic not avaliable) which really wasnt my cup of tea, and the fish bites was simply ordinary.

Saw kuanyong there too, and his meat platter didnt look much better. Looks good but taste soso only.

Spaggedies at Marina Square

Another of my fav italian place.

Banana Crumble from Swensons!

To be continued, a new rating system that i will adopt to rate food! do stay tune!

The story continues.

Decided not to put up pictures of the people involved. But anyway, think the man got caught

Food Galore

1. Geylang Supper

They are known as tau huay king for a reason, as the rest of their food. well, let's put it this way, is not too tasty.
Cockroaches were also spotted in the vicinity. Cleanliness is questioned.

Next up D88 Durian. One at $12. and it only had like 6 seeds. Definitely tasty though, however, i still think you are able to pick up one of this quality in the $2 basket.

2. Pasta at ambush: Taka food square, ambushed in one corner

3. New York New York has arrived in HEARTLAND MALL

Can you believe it? it's located on the second floor. Ok. heartland mall is slightly cooler now.

4. Katong Laksa

I don't know if this is the original one. But it sure tastes good! Best laksa i have tasted thus far.

5. Chewy Tart @ Bugis

Those who have not been there for a long time, will be shocked to find the number of changes it has, with emphasis on the food.
This is something new i guess. Its like bread papa but more chewy and more flavours. Worth a try.

6. Nomin Seafood Restaurant located opposite Upper Serangoon Shopping Center

First recommended by Mr Tay, this has indeed become one of my fav eating place. Food is great especially the soup!

7 727 Durian Puffs

After dinner at Nomin, pop by highland center, bout 5 mins walk, to savour the great durain puffs.

My fav puffs of all time. However the prices has been increasing. For a box of 6, it is now $4.20, when it was previously $3?

8. RK house at Serangoon Gardens

Not really fantastic or tasty. It is also rather expensive. Two pratas with egg and cheese and 2 teh bing, amounted to $8.40, but its RK house. It's famous if u know what i mean. Pork anyone?
